D-RING
A Single Anchor Point Designed to be Used for Fall Restraint, Arrest, or Abseil.
D-Ring
The Sayfa Group™ D-Ring is a BS 8610:2017 tested single anchor point designed for use as a fall restraint, fall arrest, or rope access solution. The D-Ring can also be used as part of a strung system such as davit arms. This allows users to safely access areas at height or perform cleaning or inspection of facades via rope access.
A trained user attaches to the the D-ring using a suitable PPE lanyard and harness, as instructed by the system designer. For rope access only IRATA trained abseiler can use the system for abseiling using suitable PPE and tie off configuration.
Suitable for Fall Restraint, Fall Arrest, and Rope Access.
Third party tested to BS 8610:2017 for Personal Fall Protection Equipment. Anchor Systems.
Only suitable for fixing to suitable concrete substrate.
Product Details
The Sayfa Group™ D-Ring is a compact 316 stainless steel eyebolt system. The system should be designed according to BS 6037 & 7883. When used for rope access the D-Ring must be used in conjunction with a second anchor point to create a suitable rope configuration.
SATRA tested to BS 8610 and rated to a SWL of 200kg or 2 users for fall restraint, arrest, and abseil.
30 Year Sayfa+ Warranty subject to regular 6 to 12 month testing of the system dependent on use.
Sayfa Yellow as standard but can be powder coated to match any RAL colour.
Testing Information
Recertification of this system is required to be performed by a competent height safety
engineer. Environmental factors affect the recommended intervals for testing and
inspection are as follows:
Fall Restraint & Arrest
EN ISO 12944-2 C1 – C3 Environments : Intervals of 12 months.
EN ISO 12944-2 C4 – CX Environments : Intervals of 6 months*.
Rope Access (Testing & Recertification must be performed by a LOLER competent person)
EN ISO 12944-2 C1 – C3 Environments : Intervals of 6 months.
EN ISO 12944-2 C4 – CX Environments : Intervals of 3 months*.
